ABET graduates shine (Hermanus Times)

On Thursday, 19 August, Abagold awarded 27 certificates to 24 employees who successfully completed their ABET exams. The number of ABET certificates issued to Abagold staff since the programme’s implementation in 2005, now stands at 170.

Mzoxolo Mkwenkwana, recently promoted to a second-in-charge on Sea View farm, successfully completed both the English and Numeracy Level 2 course simultaneously.
Results like this prove that hard dedication, hard work and management support pays off.

Three section managers also received certificates in Responsible Aquaculture Practices offered by the Aquaculture Institute of South Africa, bringing to seven the total number of managers that have completed the course.
